Giant Dipper at Santa Cruze Beach Boardwalk
Opening a year earlier than the similiarly named Giant Dipper just down the California coast in San Diego (and with the same designers in Frank Prior and Fred Church), this 1924 isntallation has provided more than 50 million rides over the years. Its beachfront location provides great Pacific Ocean views as you strap yourself into the bucket seats and bring down the lap bar.
